Privacy policy

Last updated: October 26, 2026 · Effective: October 26, 2026

p99lab is operated by Miranda AI, Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect through www.p99lab.com, the p99lab console and the p99lab API, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: support@p99lab.com.

Your account

When you sign up in the console we store your email address, the name you give us, when you joined, and how you sign in (an email link or Google). Sign-in is handled by Supabase, which stores these account records for us in the United States.

We send sign-in links and account emails, such as a low balance notice, through Resend. These emails contain no tracking pixels.

The p99lab API

Audio you send to the API is held only while the transcript is produced and is then discarded. We do not store, log or train on the audio or on the transcripts we return.

For each request we record its time, the API key used, the length of the audio, its language, how long it took and whether it succeeded. We use these records to show you your usage, to bill it and to run the service. We store only a one-way hash of each API key.

The API runs on Modal, a cloud computing provider, in the United States. Audio passes through Modal's infrastructure while it is transcribed and is handled under its own privacy and security terms.

Payments

Paid plans are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly; we never see or store them. We keep your Stripe customer reference, your plan, and the invoices and credit added to your account.

Earlier access requests

If you joined our waitlist or requested API access before sign-up opened, we stored your email address, anything you wrote about what you are building, and the time. We use it only to contact you about p99lab and keep it until you ask us to delete it.

Analytics

We count page visits with Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, does not follow you across other websites, and gives us aggregate numbers rather than a profile of you.

The website sets no cookies. The console uses cookies only to keep you signed in.

Hosting and logs

Our hosts process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the service from abuse. The website and console are hosted by Vercel under its own privacy policy.

The site links to Hugging Face, GitHub and the TurnBench leaderboard. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to close your account, by emailing support@p99lab.com. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced by email or in the console before they take effect. The dates at the top of this page show when it last changed.
